Ask your doc: I am not sure how long it takes to get your liver to become 10.5 from 16. The thing is you are jaundice. You should see your primary and may also need liver or GI specialist based on your diagnosis. You can have cirrhosis later on due to your hx of alcohol use.

Not a drinker. My UltraSnd says Mild enlarged & fatty liver. I'v High biliru- 2.1(Dir-0.5,InD-1.6).SGPT/SGOT- just high. ALP - OK ,Proteins - OK.Lipid Profile - OK. PanC - OK. ESR -8, CBC- Normal, Blood Sug - Ok, Kidney -OK.No Hep B/C. Is it Serious?
