I have chronic urinary retention. all labs are clear (cystoscopy, mri, urine culture). i'm on flomax (tamsulosin) since 1yr. dr. prescribed ibuprofen but no change?

Second opinion: If you are dissatisfied with the explanations that your urologist has provided it is never a bad idea to get a second opinion. Few good doctors will resent this and most will be happy to refer you to somebody they trust and feel will help you. Good luck.
