No: Something does not fit. You should not be having episodes of blackouts from a lengthy undefined viral illness. Suggest strongly that you see a neurologist or infectious disease expert or both and get this specifically evaluated and diagnosed. This could be cardiac arrhythmia, neurological, infectious, or about anything. Hope this turns out to be nothing serious and you are better soon. Best.

Doubt it.: Assuming these "blackouts" are really happening, assuming they are not substance induced (alcohol, pills, or some other substance), and assuming they are not psychiatric in origin, they need to be investigated. See a neurologist at your first opportunity.
