Have had iron infusion due to ida and possible crohn's. Not anaemic now however CBC results show haemoglobin decreased from 13.6 to 13 in 7 days?
Had 2 consecutive CBC's show low HGB 13.8g/dL, and low HCT 41.7% other values were normal. Doctor also ordered LDH test which was high at 204. My reticulocytes/100 RBCs were 1.2%, immature 0.10, hemoglobin content 34.3 pg. What's the possible cause?
What causes these results? Iv spoke to Dr & she says there normal but Im worried about my levels. Had cbc done and these were the ones that were abnormal Haemoglobin 160 g/l. Red blood count 5.14 haematocrit 0.474 L/L?
I did a CBC test that indicates normal hemoglobin levels are 13.5 - 17.1 g/dL, but mine is 13.2, is this something I should look into? Am I Anemic?
What does it mean if CBC consistently shows low RBC but normal hematocrit and hemoglobin?
