Lmp: All pregnancy dating is based on lmp. So even when LMP is unknown the age given by crl assumes when LMP "should have been. Ie about two weeks prior to implantation. So a pregnancy is 40 weeks from LMP and 38 weeks from implantation. All studies, all research, all dating, dating by ultrasound goes by the 40 week designation or from time of lmp.
