I was prescribed a steroid for bronchitis. Can a steroid cause negative effects on a fetus if taken during conception or early pregnancy?

Mgt: It is best to try to avoid oral steroids unless otherwise indicated. From your description, an inhaled form or LABA/inhaled steroid combination is an alternative to further discuss with your physician.
