I have been told by a podiatrist that the only way i can permanently get rid of corns is to have bunion surgery. is this true?

Corns: Well the usually way to permanently rid of a corn is to remove the bony prominence. In some instances a proper offloading orthotic will reduce the corn and pain that surgery can be delayed or no longer needed.

Corns: If the corn is at the top or dorsum of say the second toe and the hallux or big toe is colliding with that second toe and causing the toe to hammer , then , yes.
