May be unrelated: You may have another ailment that is causing you to feel nauseous. Have you been taking narcotic pain meds for the pain? They sometimes cause your symptoms.

Meds side effect: The most common cause of nausea during dry socket treatment is taking the stronger pain medicines with an empty stomach. Also dry socket dressing (e.g. Alvogyl) has very unpleasant taste and can make you sick to your stomach. Keep a good oral hygiene and drink plenty of clear liquids to remain hydrated.
