Very soon: Unless you are are taking a bisphosphonate in which case your bone is not as healthy (osteonecrosis of the jaw).

Any minute: The salt water may be slowing things up. The healing has to come through what the body sets up in the socket. If you wash any of it out, it could slow things down.
