See your dentist: Best to see the dentist who did the extraction so he can check the healing and determine if the packing should be replaced. Some packings are designed to be removed, others dissolve over time.

Always best: Always best to contact the treating General Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon whenever you have this, or any other question, about your care. Repacking may be necessary, but only your practitioner will know for sure.
