A member asked:

On average, how long will a dry socket take to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dry Sockets : Dry sockets can be very painful, lasting a few weeks. If you suspect a dry socket. You should contact the doctor that did the extractions and hopefully have the areas packed to get some relief, otherwise you will be trying to kill the pain with pain meds that are likely not to help too much. Once healed, you should be fine, but it can take some time, up to a week or two.
