NSAIDs -Tylenol OTC: Dry socket rarely results in abscess or other serious complications. Keeping pain under control is a top priority, you can use NSAIDs or Tylenol (acetaminophen) OTC. Practice a good oral hygiene, avoid using tobacco and spicy food. If concerned, see your dentist/surgeon.
