A week: Think of the risk as half of a normal distribution with a peak at 60 hours (2 1/2 days). Conventional wisdom says after 3-4 days the risk is much less but since you ask about being "completely out of the woods" there could be some minimal risk present depending on risk factors lasting 5 to 7 days. If not properly treated, the symptoms can persist even longer, as it takes additional time to resolve
