So sad: It would be prudent for you read & follow the instructions. Why an adult would be given a liquid is puzzeling.Just hope you can knock out the infection with what you have left. You may need to share your mistake with the treating doc & ask for more. Insurers will often not cover such mistakes, but the med is cheep so the out of pocket cost should be minimal.You pee out most of the med in 8-12 hrs.
