Neg. biopsy good: Biopsy is usually performed to confirm the presence of gastritis and/or h. Pylori.It sounds like the treatment you must have had for gastritis related to h. Pylori must of worked. Physician probably felt since biopsy was normal that you no longer needed treatment. If symptoms recur or worsen you should contact your doctor.
