It depends on curren: Your current symptoms in the tummy should serve as a guide as to what to do next. If the belly pain is getting worse then you need further testing to find the exact cause. If the pain has settled down then it was probably just gastritis which usually heals in 4-6 weeks. Ask your doctor to guide you further.
