My upper endoscopy of stomach showed reactive gastritis on biopsy. next biopsy 8 months later showed slight linear erosion but biopsy came back 'within normal limits'. what does this mean? has the reactive gastritis resolved?

It: Is likely that it has resolved. This can happen treating or removing the cause like treating H pylori or stopping NSAIDS
