My 19 m/o was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection. he is still running a fever after 2 days on antibiotics. should i take him back to the doc?

Depends: In general, i wood suggest waiting about 72 hours for the antibiotics to be working. Further, it depends on how high the fever is. If it is low grade< 101.5, i wouldn't be too concerned. If the child has a higher fever and is acting more sick, then you should be see again.
