Fever after extracti: Low grade fever less than 100.3 not uncommon. Higher than that i'd call your doctor. Ext cause inflammation throughout your system.

No: Fever, even a low grade fever is not to be expected following the removal of teeth. Call your dentist and discuss this issue. It may or may not be related to the procedure. He\she may want to place you on antibiotics, if you are not already on them, and may also want to see your back in the office for an evaluation.

Temp to 100.5 F: A slight fever is common the first few days after surgery. However, if you have a higher fever (over 101.3 F) or if fever persists, visit your surgeon for post-op appointment.
