Thought i had a yeast infection & tried otcs for a month. saw doc & was diagnosed with bv. took antibiotic for seven days and symptoms cleared up internally. still have periods of external burning. does it take longer to heal or is it dermatological?

Condition like BV symptom should resolve within a week or two after treatment. Continued symptoms may indicate another vaginitis or possible dermatologic condition. Recommend you see a dermatologist or OB/GYN for diagnosis or treatment.
