No- not really: You certainly need further evaluation to find the cause of youyr low white and red blood cells. However, it does not mean you have infection. There are different factors than can cause low white and red blood cells including medication, deficiency of certain nutrient, autoimmune, thyroid problem, bone marrow problem etc. Ask your primary doctor to refer you to see hematologist.
