A member asked:

My overall blood work was good. i did have 0.1 nucleated red blood cell. what does that mean? 33 years old, recently had ringworm and sinus infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, 0.1 nucleated red cells is normal and not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!
