I had a septoplasty & endoscopic surgery this past tues.my nose is runny stuffy and have a gauze.can i shower? can water go in nose using salinex

Ask your surgeon : I certainly would not want to counter the recommendations ornoffer advice that would conflict with that was provided by your surgeon. Contact your surgeons or specific post operative care guidelines.

Information: If you have pcking ion the nose it is best not to get it wet. So turn you head away from the shower jet. It would be best to speak with your surgeon regarding what he advises for routine post op care. Generally I do not allow my patients do do anything with the nose for at least one week post op.
