Exercise p/ septo: This is a question your surgeon should answer. I restrict my patients from strenuous activity for 2 weeks after septoplasty or similar surgery. Why risk bleeding, prolonged swelling and possibly returning to surgery to remove clot or control bleeding that may occur due to early exertion?

Spinning septum: The biggest risk after septoplasty is bleeding. It is very important that you not raise your blood pressure during the early healing period, which is generally 2 weeks. Walking at a slow pace, in which you can speak comfortably in sentences, is probably fine. It is important to consult with your surgeon on this issue.
