The bubbles fill with undigestible particles and may get infected and pop a leak.

Constipation: People who have chronic or frequent constipation seem to be more susceptible to diverticulitis. There are many other good reasons to get evaluated to correct constipation. Problems, including but not limitted to, are hemorrhoids, fissures, and colorectal cancer.
