How do i get rid of diverticulitis?

Treat infection: Diverticulitis is an infection of small out-pouches that form on the outside of the colon or large intestine. Needs to be treated with antibiotics. Prevention can be eating healthy high fiber foods, avoid white bread, rice, noodles, junk food & fast foods. Avoid constipation, drink plenty of liquids.

Antibiotics: You should see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis. For uncomplicated diverticulitis, generally it will respond to antibiotic therapy. Severe cases may require urgent surgery.
