A member asked:

I am 17 years old and turn 18 in july, do i need an adult to come with me to get a sports physical?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: My office offers parents the choice of letting their older teens come alone to the office for care as long as the proper permission forms are signed ahead of time. This includes physicals & sick visits.A phone call to the office should be able to answer your question. After you turn 18, you actually have to give permission here for anyone else to come in with you.
