Hernia in girls : A complete physical is performed with focus on the musculoskeletal system. Hernias are sometimes challenging to diagnose in girls/women. The common symptom of a bulge or abdominal mass/protrusion is not always present in girls. Let the doctor know if you have this but also important to inform them of others sx that may represent a hernia (nausea/vomiting, heartburn, constipationurinary problems).
