Propofol: Propofol is a quite safe drug if one hasn't a sensitivity to its components. It must be monitored appropriately by trained anesthesia personnel. The m. Jackson episode demonstrated what can happen when it isn't monitored and dosed appropriately.

Minimal risk: Generally you should continue beta blocker meds on day of surgery (with a sip of water). Propranolol use does not effect Propofol usage nor increase risks of respiratory depression or cardiac depression. -.

Ive been diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachycardia. I was prescribed midodrine. I was told the tachycardia is a reaction and they think its from low blood pressure. Is this dangerous? Pacemaker? Heart problems?
Every time it is hot or humid, I get very hot and panicky which leads to lightheaded and feeling like I will pass out. I do have vasovagal disorder and inappropriate sinus tachycardia with low blood pressure. Is my anxiety making the heat worse?
