Just a suggestion: You may wish to consult an otologist at a major medical center or medical school, so that your son can also see a geneticist, a developmental/behavioral pediatrician & a pediatric neuropsychologist to help define what kind of educational supports he needs - either an iep or a " section 504." please take the documentation of the sensorineural hearing loss to his teacher, for school accomodations.
