Not for everyone: Antidepressants work, but not for everyone. For some types of depression, antidepressants can be very effective. In some situations, one antidepressant may be better than another. The dosage may have to be adjusted. A mood stabilizer may be indicated. In other people psychotherapy with ur without medication may be the treatment of choice.
