Some possibilities:: 1. Mdma increases oxytocin levels, which may help you feel better. 2. Mdma increases prefrontal activity and inhibits the amygdala, which may improve emotional status. 3. Mdma increases norepinephrine & cortisol, which may help you feel more in control (at least in the short term). 4. Sometimes a powerful experience (like mescaline or mdma) can shift our perceptions & alter the way we feel.
