A member asked:

Can you tell me if there are foods to avoid eating if you have migraines?

Yes: Everyone has their own triggers. Chocolate, nuts and red wine, and certain rich cheeses are a couple that are known triggers.

Could be: About 10-15% of migraineurs seem to have obvious food reactions, and many more may have these issues. Common offenders include monosodium glutamate, nitrites, aspartame, pickled herring, red wine, aged cheeses, chemically treated cold cuts, and many additional items. Chocolate is somewhat confusing, and one report said not so.
