Hormone active T: Tumors of endocrine glands that may secrete hormone or hormone like sutances. Adrenal cortical tumors can produce cortisone and cause cushing's disease. Thyroid tumor can cause thyrotoxicosis (overactive thyroid). Pituitary adenoma or cancer can cause variety of endocrine disorders. Ovarian or testicular tumors in children can cause precotious puberty. Etc. Etc.
