Blood tests and MRI!: There are genetic tests available for mens 1 & 2. These genetic coditions predispose to neuro-endocrine tumors such as carcinoid, which is quite deadly, since they are usually discovered late. Talk with your doctor about these blood tests. Depends: Some endocrine tumors can be seen on imaging such as ultrasound (ie thyroid) or ct, whereas some endocrine tumors are best detected with lab work. You should talk to your doctor.
