Healthy adult?: Normal size? In that case, maximum daily dose is 2400mg. "prescription strength ibuprofen" is usually 800mg every 8hrs or 600mg every 6hrs (both =2400mg). Should not be done for more than a few days ideally, and in consultation with your dr.
