My answer is no: I am sorry you have had these issues and that you are left with a half of a kidney. Because of your limited kidney tissue, you need to avoid anything that could affect kidney function Ibuprofen and other NSAIDs can be harmful to the kidney and should be avoided. I would seek medical attention for the pain you are having and you can discuss safer options like Tylenol.
