Be careful : Be careful wrt the amount of ibuprofen you take. You can take 800 mg twice a day for a couple of days but really you better see the dentist and fix the tooth

No: Doing so would have you exceed the normal safe dose, and would not significantly reduce pain. Have you tried cold compresses? What you need is definitive dental treatment. Toothache probably due to infection. Pain killers don't cure infection, which will continue to spread if untreated. Call your Dentost now. You need to be seen quickly.
