Answer via Questions: We rely on the answers people give to questions about their thoughts, emotions and behaviors to determine whether (a) they have symptoms of depression; (b) how many they have; & (c) how severe each is/how much each interferes w/ person's ability 2 function day 2 day. Standard MRI machines produce great still shots of the brain but those pics don't show depression or what someone is thinking, etc.
