Get headaches behind the head. is it due to depression/anxiety or meds? i'm on haldol, (haloperidol) lithium, and lamictal. mri normal.

Headache causes.: Headaches can occur in up to 12% with Haldol. Up to 29% can develop headache with Lamictal and the frequency of headaches is not reported for Lithium. Information is from Drugs.com. Stress can lead to headaches. People with depression and anxiety are also apt to develop physical symptoms.

Occipital neuralgia: Could be tension, but consider occipital neuralgia as well. This often responds well to nerve blocks by an interventional pain specialist if all other things fail (relaxation, massage, hydration, nsaids, therapy)
