Hepatitis is suspect: Hepatitis b or c is an infectious and inflammatory disease that can cause protein in urine while causing elevated liver enzymes. Other conditions like lupus are to be considered. Also, 2 things could happen together like diabetes that causes protein in urine and obesity that causes liver enzyme increase.
