A member asked:

What would be the benefit of drinking spring water rather than regular 'drinking water'?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing: Many times the "spring water" is not as pure as the normal "tap/drinking water". The requirements on a public water supplier by the epa and the state department of the environment is extremely controlled, and cost the water supplier a significant amount of time, money, and proper certifications just to produce this level of water quality. Spring water is not controlled and has many contaminates.
