The good and the bad: Lemons have vitamin c. Vitamin c is an antioxidant and is considered to be a healthy supplement. Vitamin c is citric acid and is erosive to teeth. If your teeth are in contact with citric acid for hours, the enamel on your teeth may microscopically erode. Best to rinse with plain water after minimize this.

A 20-year-old female asked:
Can drinking lemon water de-tox your body if not what can ?

Diet & Exercise: "De-tox" is a term that sounds good, but has no real meaning in medicine (except maybe describing what the liver does). The best way to "detox" your body is to sleep well, exercise regularly, eat low on the food chain, few processed foods, and reduce stress.
Proven anti-oxidants include Vitamin D and fish/omega-3 oils.
