A member asked:

If someone has throat cancer would they have at least one swollen lymph node near throat which will continuously grow?

Not necessarily: Throat cancer starts in the throat itself, then spreads to the lymph nodes, so if it hasn't spread yet, there won't be any swollen lymph nodes.

In advanced cases: There will be involvement of the neck node if the "throat" cancer has advanced beyond the neck.
