Reset your sleep: The only real trick to working the night shift is to sleep in the daytime and work at night, even on nights when you are not at work. Switching from day to night and back again is very difficult, and will give you more trouble than if you stay on a night only schedule. Make sure your bedroom is dark and cool to help you sleep in the daytime.
