Perhaps: It appears that the increased risk for chronic diseases & early death associated with working nights is primarily associated with lack of adequate sleep and poor nutrition. Lack of exercise can also be a contributing factor. If you are getting adequate sleep along with exercise & good nutrition even though you work nights you may not be at greater risk for chronic diseases and early death.
