Ectopic pregnancy: Ovaries normally ovulates 70% of the time on the same side. Losing a tube due to an ectopic pregnancy will decrease your chances of conception but there is still a high likelihood of conceiving. Ask your physician to determine which side you ovulate the majority of time on and possibly taking Clomid (clomiphene) will allow you to ovulate on both sides to improve your chances of conception. There is an approximate 10 to 15% chance of having another topic pregnancy.
