Not sure: The mono [ ebv virus] lasts usually 4 -6 weeks . The infectivity , or ability to pass the infection last weeks as well. Probably 4- 6 weeks but it can not be precisely predicted exactly how many in any individual. To be safe it should wait a fews months.

Depends: If your are still having symptoms you most likely will not be up to that close a contact but if symptoms are gone and only some glands and no more effects you are probably non infective infectiveness does not last for a month if asymptomatic go ahead and have a good time but be careful.
