See Endo: With difficult to treat diabetes that becomes irregular and hard to treat, despite , exercise and taking your rx'd medications, you may need to see and endocrinologist who can tailor your treatment to best suit you. For example, an Insulin pump may be a possible treatment for your erratic sugars, or a different Insulin regimen than just the once daily type, etc. Best wishes.
