A member asked:

I was recently diagnosed with t1 diabetes.am on insulin. recently my sugars are too high, about 10mmol and 14mmol and i get 2,something lows during the night. it seems my body is not responding to the insulin as did b4.any particular reason why?

Hard to speculate: Managing T1DM requires a blend of long & short acting insulin matched to your dietary practices over time. In the US new patients are matched with educators who help them determine how their diet can be managed to best match their insulin use. Without a review of all these factors little can be said. You should contact your diabetes team for these questions.
